CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) is a very effective standard of care for patients who are suffering through the effects of obstructive sleep disorders. But despite its effectiveness, CPAP is not for everyone. There are those who either cannot tolerate CPAP (due to feelings of claustrophobia or discomfort with the sleeping mask) or would benefit from the use of an oral appliance in combination with CPAP. For these patients, alternative therapy is available.
The end goal of your therapy will be a significantly more restful sleep with results that are medically monitored. After selecting the therapy method that is right for you, you’ll sleep better, snore less, feel healthier and be more alert throughout your day. As a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr. Rubel and his team have the experience and resources available to find a therapy that works for you. Our staff will not rest easy until you rest easy.
